These Catchmaster traps work. After trying to use just a couple traps during our first outbreak, I leaned not to skimp on traps if you want quick results. Put a trap in every room, inside each food cabinet, and near exterior doors or other points of entry.



I buy a bundle of 12 or more for our three bedroom house, looking for the best buy at Amazon or at an Internet auction site. The traps are non-toxic and easy to assemble. You may need to wait a few days before seeing results, but you will be impressed by how many moths these trap over time.



Traps in rooms with exterior doors catch the most. I even put a trap in our fireplace because of the air entry from outside. The fireplace trap catches the most - 100+ moths in a couple months.



The traps use pheromone lures, and attract small, grey pantry moths. If you have an infestation, you will need at least one trap per room and one per cabinet with food. I date the traps with a marker so I can quickly spot which traps are the oldest and might need to be thrown out. They seem to work for up to 5 month or so.



In bundles of 12 or more, the cost should be under $2 each including postage. Highly recommended.

Order information:

I was impressed with the quick delivery of my order. The ladybugs arrived in a vacuum sealed bag two days after I ordered them. They appeared healthy.



I was in desperate need for 3800 live ladybugs, but the only supplier on amazon decided to sell them in a in boxes of 4500. I did not want to wait for my necessary quantity, so I was forced to order what was available.



As soon as I received them, I wanted to verify I received what I paid for. I was upset after spending 13 hours counting them when I realized I had actually only received 4491 ladybugs. Seeing as I paid (...) per ladybug, I'm pretty upset about not receiving my complete order. Then again, I only need 3800.



I quickly released the extra 691 ladybugs out my front door. Seeing as it's 14 degrees out, they didn't make it very far.









Now on to my plan:

I was laying in bed six weeks ago, and I was doing some math. Ladybugs reproduce at a rate of 180 per "couple" per month. This means that there is huge profit potential in the ladybug business. Let me explain this with some math.



3800 = 1900 Couples. This is what I wanted to start out with.

1900 couples x 180 babies output will net me 342,000 total ladybugs the first month.

The next month I would have 171,000 couples which would yield 30,780,000 in 30 days.



I'm sure you can see how many ladybugs I will have in a year. Basically I'll have a trillion, or something. I didn't get that far, I just know I was going to be rich. And I say "was" because I found the downside of this so called "4500 ladybugs for (...)".



They're all males, and they're gay. It took me 30 days to realize this because they never had any babies. I missed all the signs, including the loose stool, and the bow legged walks they were exhibiting.







I'll rate these a four. Quick shipping, and I guess I received what I ordered. I just wish they would have stated more details on the product.

Effective in trapping clothing moths by JB
I purchased this product after hearing about it on NPR's "You Bet Your Garden." I was noticing holes in woolen clothing in my closets and drawers. I use these traps in the closets and cedar blocks in the drawers. The traps are effective in catching male moths and presumably preventing breeding, but the harm to clothing is from the larvae, so my understanding is the traps won't eliminate an existing situation but will prevent future harm by stopping the reproduction cycle. I've been replacing them every three months in my closets, as instructed and haven't had a problem since I started using the product about 8 months ago. I intend to continue using them and have encouraged friends to use them also. I like the fact that, unlike moth balls, they are non-toxic.

It wasn't until I moved to the suburbs that I found out how horrifying I find bees and wasps. It also wasn't until I had a very large wasp in the house that I realized I had no clue how to kill a wasp in the house. Swatting at it like a fly didn't seem like a good idea. I'm pretty sure if you miss that might be the kind of thing that would anger it a tad. I ended up hitting it with bug spray, but realized that if I didn't want to live in a cloud of poison I would need to find a better solution. When I first saw this product I kind of though it was a joke. I mean it is a tad amusing..a bug zapping tennis racket! I was also skeptical, but turns out this thing works incredibly well. Plus, I seem to get some sort of satisfaction from the sound of frying bugs. Ah, sweet victory. On a side note, they aren't kidding when they say to be careful with this. One wrong move and you end up zinging yourself, which isn't an enjoyable experience.

Great Product!!! Left them in cabinet overnight (according to directions), and woke up to find the baits filled with dead ants!!! Best Ant trap I have used yet! Hint: Since this is a liquid you need to warn others not to tip (spill) the trap contents. I would imagine the contents can't be healthy for humans. However, left self-contained in it's trap, it works- and does not effect the items in the surrounding area. We used it near packaged foods- and everything was fine. You might want to put a reminder sign in the area so others remember not to touch or tilt the traps. As far as effectiveness...I have used Raid and other of the non-liqid ant traps- nothing has worked nearly as well as this for common household ants!!!

Stink Bugs enter our home in the Fall to survive the coming Winter. In the Spring they MUST return to the outdoors to breed and lay their eggs. The problem is, when they're crawling on the carpets, windows, etc., if you step on them, suck them up in a vacuum cleaner, etc. they then release a terrible odor. (They're called Stink Bugs for a reason.)



Wasn't sure this "Electronic Racket Zapper" would be helpful but figured for $5 it was worth a try. Turned out...it's perfect! It's quite easy to get them to walk onto the Racket and then you Zap them and toss them into the waste basket. Best of all...NO SMELL!!!
