I have to say, I am usually skeptical about "As Seen on TV Products" and some of the scam alerts I read about this item when performing a Google search. I read the good reviews on Amazon, and decided to just give it a shot. I live in Honolulu, where you really cannot avoid roaches. The first week I was here, I found many dead roaches from traps that were set up, as well as always seeing some on the run whenever I turned on a light when entering the apartment at night.



After plugging in Pest Offense, I have seen maybe two to three roaches total in the one week it has been operating. They are far and few between now (unlike the one night I entered the apartment previous to having this product and saw about 5-6 on the run for their lives in the kitchen). I have contemplated getting boric acid, but it seems that this product has been holding its own and I have put those plans on hold.



I will update this review in a few weeks to let other reviewers know whether I had to resort to boric acid or not, but at the moment, it does not seem that I will need it.

We have a house with a timber ceiling in the pacific northwest. After spotting a few large black carpenter ants, finding some frass, and hearing scratching sounds in the wall, I found this stuff recommended on the Internet. It arrived yesterday and I put some on the ceiling beams near where the frass was. Last night the ants went totally insane for it. They were crawling all over it. It was kind of unnerving, but they obviously loved this stuff. Tonight, exactly 24 hours later, there is not a single ant to be seen. Can it possibly have killed the queen & nest already? Don't hesitate to try this if you have a big black ant problem.

This was fun and i still have lady bugs in my yard. Do not use pesticides!! They will disappear. Even if you don't put it directly on them they know Sevin is inthe area and they take off. We still have them around the yard a year later. They were all over our Chards and Cabbage.

This stuff is for Carpenter ants. Hence the "Carpenter Ant Bait Gel" in the description clearly displayed on the box. It can work for some other types of ants too but it's mainly for Carpenters. I put some of this stuff down behind my kitchen stove last night. They went nuts for it. You can literally feed then from the tube. I made some small blobs and they all gathered around sucking it up. This morning there were none around. I'll put some more down tonight because I doubt they're all dead as I've had quite an infestation but so far I'm impressed. This stuff is awesome!

No, this is not the most efficient way to kill insects.

But it's fun. And it's blood sport.



It doesn't always kill them the first time, making it a bit inhumane. It will usually

knock the flies down and leave them semi paralyzed on the floor. Then you have to decide

how to deliver that final coup-de-grace.



As far as no smell? It smells all right. It smells like Jeff Goldblum probably

smelt like in the adaptation of The Fly. The flies snap, crackle, and pop, and the smell

is somewhat like faint burning hair.

Not perfect but better than anything else seen by George Nevis
Doing a good job, installed one in the garden, we definitely have less mosquitoes. However it kills all kind of insects, probably some are beneficial for garden (not sure in that, just a guess).

I also tried indoor for a few days (not recommended by manufacturer), it killed most of the mosquitoes, but there was always one that preferred us over the light.



I gave 4 stars because of the high cost of the mosquito lure replacement stickers and the lack of 100% efficiency.



Still, I would suggest it to buy, far better than anything else we tried.

For fruit trees:
