We put out these traps in 2007 or 2008 - a very long time ago. They never caught anything, so I left them alone and simply checked every few months. I knew they probably were "dead" and should be replaced, but just never got around to it. About a month ago, I found the trap and looked inside - inside three months (when I last checked), the trap went from no moths to a dozen or more captured! And this is after years of just sitting with the phermone strip exposed to the air! THANK YOU, SAFER! I immediately replaced the traps with new ones, since the old ones were full. Hope the new traps last 1/2 as long! RECOMMENDED.

I have had moths for a couple years. I just can't seem to get rid of them. I've never had his problem before so I didn't know what to try. But I was desparate. They would fly by my face while I was watching tv, eating, all over the house. They ruin my food, I have to put everything in ziploc bags, and they even find their way into that. All my tshirts are in ziploc bags, other clothes in plastic locking bins and plastic suit bags. Nothing keeps them out.



I was willing to try anything, short of seling my house and moving, so I came on Amazon and found these traps. Ratings were great so I sent for 3 packages. They arrived quick. I set one up in the kitchen, and sat down to eat a tomato. By the time I was done there were 6 moths caught, and several others flying around the trap.



I have had 2 of these out for a coule weeks, and the moths keep appearing, and are attracted into this trap. They keep working. I very seldom see any flying around. They sense the traps, fly around it, then right inside.

I set this on my kitchen counter this morning, and tonight there are around 75 gnats and/or tiny fruit flies floating in the liquid inside this thing, and just a few hanging around my fruit. Makes it seem like I live in a filthy home, but actually it's very clean and sanitary. We just live at the beach, and leave our windows open, and do leave a basket of fruit on our counter.



I'll also give this product kudos for looking pleasant enough sitting on the counter, yet giving you a clear window that you can look into to check how many flies you've caught. And it's non-toxic (basically scented soap inside.)



The only downside is that you can't really empty and re-use the thing, and at this rate I'll be going through quite a few. After all, how long do you want to leave a swamp of dead floating fruit flies on your counter? So it can get expensive.

I bought this bug zapper about a month ago now, and it's been on since i got it out of the box. Before i had it, i was getting bit constantly by mosquitos that had found their way into my apartment. Like a number of other reviewers, I didn't think this could work. I just returned from a backpacking trip into the Sierra Nevada in California. Usually, I avoid mosquito season by scheduling the hike after the worst is over. This time, I scheduled the hike, made the plans, and watched from Michigan as snow kept falling well into April. The reports from other backpackers were disheartening.



Well, one of my fellow hikers took the thing along. It is light enough to easily pack. The first night, there were lots of bugs. We tried it. Most of them went away. The second night, there were lots of bugs. We got it going and most of them went away. Etc.



After a few days in the wilderness, a solar shower seems like a wonderful idea -- but that exposes a great deal of skin. We set the shower up in a tree, turned on the device, and took a shower in blissful comfort.



In short, the ThermaCELL really does work.

It's rare that I am completely thrilled with a product, or find that it works even better than I expected. Based on price, ease of use, and comparison to similar products I think this is an exceptional option, will recommend it to anyone, and will continue to use it.



We live in Maryland and the ants raid the house about 5 times a year. Sometimes they are all over the kitchen, sometimes it's bathrooms, but it is always frustrating and embarrassing. I feel like we tried nearly everything. I started with natural solutions - herbs and oils - with the belief that simplest is usually better & certainly less toxic. This didn't work.



Baseboard sprays were next with outside spray treatments. This caused no noticeable dent in the traffic.

Finally we went with all of the above combined with a yard treatment. Still no real difference. I was at the end of my rope. I guess if your house (or townhouse in our case) is on top of the ants, and so are your neighbors, you are pretty limited.



So I bought the Terro baits and Grant's Ants to compare the two and hopefully find a solution. Terro won hands down. Within 48 hours the ants vacated and 3 months later we were just starting to see scouts again. We put the bait where the scouts were coming in, and the response was death and total absence within 24 hours.



In comparing the Terro to the Grant's Ants I noticed two important things: Some ants ignore Grant's, and none of our ants were able to resist the sweet goodness inside Terro Baits. In addition, the Terro baits are smaller, clear, and less obvious than the large gray Grant's stakes for indoor placement. When you consider the ingredients, Terro is safer for indoor use around pets or kids, and seemed to work vastly better.



I wish I'd started the ant war with these baits, but having tried so many options, I can confidently say that for us, Terro was the simplest, safest & best.

I was happy to see that it really works. It electrocutes stuff but it doesn't lure mosquitoes. UV lamps and chemical attractants simply do not attract mosquitoes. This zapper is perfect for indoor use. I highly recommend it. This is a must have for those of you who live in the tropics like me. This zapper does an excellent job at getting rid of mosquitoes. In the hands of a determined user it is far better than any of the expensive mosquito traps out there. My experience with one trap which supposed to lure and electrocute mosquitoes was poor.

After buying a Stinger brand bug zapper which was the biggest piece of crap I ever bought I read some reviews on this bad boy.
